Part 5. Summary and Sugestion

A. Purposes of practicum

       The learner must be able to demonstrate understanding of the Newton’s first law (Inertia).

B. Procedures of practicum 

1. Intruduction

         i started the class by prayer, greetings, checking attendance, arrange  the chairs and give them motivational activity by showing magic trick to them (pulling a paper between two glass bottle).

2. Interaction

          After the motivational activity (Magic Trick) and the video clip, the teacher asks the students if they have questions about the activity.

-Teacher checks students’ answers by asking them.

-Teacher corrects students’ answer.

-Teacher will explain about force.

-Teacher will explain about mass.

-Teacher will explain about the relationship between force and movement.

-Teacher will explain about inertia.

3. Integration           

-Teacher will ask the students where they can see inertia in real-life situations.

-Teacher ends the class by praying and greeting

C. Outcomes of practicum

Finally, the students completed the worksheet activity that followed the lesson. They achieved good results, for example, most students could identify the definitions of inertia, relationship between force and motion, definition of law's of motions.

D.The challenges of practicum

This was the first time I have taught physics in English, because in indonesia i always using bahasa inside and outside the class, but from that i can improve my english ability its really important for me. I was very excited and little nervous about how to teach students and make it easy to understanding in my lesson.

 E. Overall impression

I really love this school very much because the teachers and students are very kind for me. My mentors help me with many things about teaching. i can learn many things in here such as culture, language, foods and several icons in philippines. its was really god experience that can help me to become good teacher in the future.

6.6 Suggestions for future improvement

      

          My first suggestion for future improvement is English language, it is very important to develop ourselve  and important for communication. We have to pay attention to the English language if we want to study abroad and we can make a friendship with other people from diffrent country.

           Second, i hope sea teacher project can always exist because its really important for student to improve our teaching ability and english ability. if i can give suggestion sea teacher project its better to conduct more than a month might be 3 months, 6 moths etc.
