Part. 3 Teaching Plan

Before we teaching we have to make our learning plan first. It the same condition in Indonesia. Learning plan is really important when we teach. Learning plan can make our learning process has direction and the purpose of learning can be achieved.

ROOSVELT COLLEGE INC.l
Secondary Education Department (Junior High School)

LEARNING PLAN
School Year 2018 – 2019
SCHEDULE
Date : August 31, 2018
Grade Level : 9
Learning Area: Physics

STANDARDS
Content Standard
:
The learner must be able to demonstrate understanding of the Newton’s first law (Inertia).
Performance Standard
:
The learner must be able to apply Newton’s first laws (Inertia)
Enduring Understanding/s
:
1.     The relationship between force and motion is that a force is required to keep an object moving along a horizontal plane. The natural state of an object is at rest, and a force is necessary to keep an object in motion.
2.     Inertia is the resistence of any physical object to any change in its position and state of motion. Inertia is also defined as the tendency of objects to keep moving in straight line at a constant velocity
3.    Newton’s first law of motion states that every object continues in its state of rest, or uniform velocity in a straight line, as long as no net force acts on it.
4.    Mass is measure of the amount of inertia. The greater the mass an object has, the greater inertia that it has.

Essential Question/s
:
1.     What is the relationship between force and motion?
2.     What is inertia?
3.     What is Newton’s First Law Of Motion?
4.     According to Newton, what is the relationship between an object’s mass and its inertia?

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Students will able to
:
1.     Define force, Mass,and Inertia

2.     Identify inertia in real-life situations

SUBJECT MATTER
A. Unit Title : Dynamics : Newton’s Laws Of Motion
B. Lesson Title : Newton’s First Law of Motion
C. Key Concept/s :
ü  Force is any kind of a push or a pull on an object.
ü  Mass is measure of the amount of inertia.
ü  Inertia is the resistence of any physical object to any change in its position and state of motion. Inertia is also defined as the tendency of objects to keep moving in straight line at a constan velocity.

TEACHING-LEARNING ACTIVITIES (TLA)
A.Introduction
:
a. Daily Routine
- Prayer
- Greetings
- Checking Attendance
- Arrange the chairs
- Pick up some pieces of paper
b. Motivational Activity:
- Magic trick (pulling a paper between two glass bottle)

B Interaction
:
- After the motivational activity (Magic Trick) and the video clip, the teacher asks the students if they have questions about the activity.
-Teacher checks students’ answers by asking them.
-Teacher corrects students’ answer.
-Teacher will explain about force.
-Teacher will explain about mass.
-Teacher will explain about the relationship between force and movement.
-Teacher will explain about inertia.
C Integration
:
-Teacher will ask the students where they can see inertia in real-life situations.
-Teacher ends the class by praying and greeting
ASSESSMENT:
ACTIVITY
1. What is Newton’s Law of motion?
2. What is inertia?
3. What is the relationship between mass and inertia?
4. Give one example about newton’s first law in real life.
